About StudiesSprint
Learning to build is not a reading problem. StudiesSprint is a place to ship something every week, in front of people, and have the work count for something.
The problem
You can finish a hundred tutorials and still freeze in front of an empty editor, because following along and deciding for yourself are different skills and only one of them gets practised. The gap closes by building things with a deadline and showing them to somebody.
What this is
A build challenge every week with a real prize. You submit the work, then answer questions about your own code — what you chose, why, and what would break — so what places is what you understand rather than what you pasted.
Around that: a leaderboard where turning up every week counts for more than one good week, a community feed for showing work in progress, and a jobs board where every posting is read by a person before it goes live.
The original course material — computers, the web, HTML, CSS, programming logic — is still here and still free if you want the ground floor first.
How it's paid for
Signing up is free, and so is the jobs board — for people looking and for employers posting. No card, no countdown.
Membership is $9.99/month — or $99.99/year paid once — and adds the weekly challenges and their prizes, the leaderboard, the community feed, and the quizzes. It funds the prize money and the moderation. Cancel from your own account whenever you like — see the terms.
Where it's at
StudiesSprint is early and running with a small test cohort. Things will change, and some of them will change because someone emailed to say they were wrong. If that's you: hello@studiessprint.com.
